About The Role

BREWDOG ARE ON THE HUNT FOR SOUS CHEF!As our Sous Chef, you’ll assist in overseeing your realm with the direction of the Head Chef.

You’ll help with leading a team of passionate cooks & kitchen support teams that want to develop and grow every day. Our goal is to be the best employer ever & you’ll be part of making that happen for your team.

About You

About The Team:You’ll be part of a dedicated retail team that are incredibly passionate about craft beer, customer service and the hospitality sector.As Sous Chef, you’ll lead a food team serving the best burgers, wings and tacos in town.You’ll report to the Head Chef. Our Chefs are super passionate about creating an amazing craft beer experience for customers and an amazing workplace for staff. Help them make this the best BrewDog Bar out there!What we are looking for in an applicant:We are looking for adaptable and team-orientated people.With at least 1 year of managing a kitchen in a similar position, whilst supporting and engaging their team.We are seeking an individual that has experience with high volume all while carrying a positive attitude.Someone that has a base understanding of business financials and how to manage them as necessary.Experience with hiring and training staff is preferred.We are looking for someone that appreciates a menu that is set by the retail leadership team while having great insight on creating efficiencies within that menu.A great understanding for prep and sourcing product as our kitchens produce most items from scratch.We are looking for someone that is dedicated to the industry and wants to further their career. Our belief is that the Sous Chef position is the breeding ground for our future head chefs as we open new locations or roles evolve over time.Above all we are looking for individuals that are willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done. Kitchens are ever evolving machines that need looking after and so are our humans. We do everything we can to ensure our teams have what they need and ensure they are receiving the necessary attention they deserve. “Without us, we are nothing” is a huge piece that our kitchens.
