This role works closely with the Group Financial Controller to ensure accurate and timely financial information in all areas of compliance across the Group. Duties will include:

• Preparation of monthly consolidation
• Preparation of group wide tax submissions and compliance, specifically VAT, duty etc
• Monthly intercompany reconciliations
• Preparation of statutory accounts globally
• Liaison with auditors group wide and collation of all requested support, working closely with management accounts team to collate necessary reporting information
• Collation of accounting disclosures across the group
• Tax compliance group wide
• Working with tax providers to maximise tax position
• Completion of ONS surveys
• Covenant reporting
• Draft necessary accounting papers
•  Other tasks as reasonably required of the role
• Ensure you are acting as part of the team and working with your colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the accounts payable function.
• Assist and provide support across the team.
• Ensure you are undertaking your performance reviews and considering good points and development points

• Wolud suit newly qualified or 1-2 years post qualified
• Preparing and delivering accurate reporting
• Knowledge of audit and tax requirements
• Experience of SAP preferred but not essential
• Can prioritise tasks and works well in a fast paced environment
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
• Excellent problem solver
• Attention to detail
• Proficient in excel
