About The Role

BREWDOG WATERLOO ARE ON THE HUNT FOR A HEAD OF SALES AND EVENTS!

BrewDog Waterloo is the largest BrewDog location in the world, encompassing two floors of amazing craft beer, spirits, food and entertainment in the centre of the city. This prestigious site is the flagship for the brand. Set in the brand-new Waterloo Station development, minutes from the London Eye, Houses of Parliament and other world-famous landmarks, it is truly one of a kind.

 

This unique site is an immersive craft beer destination for London, with one of our biggest bars, brewery, stand-alone cocktail bar, coffee shop, workspaces and bowling alley… YES, we said a bowling alley!

As the Head of Sales & Events youll be leading from the front – youll be an ambassador for the venue and the benchmark for the Brewdog brand. BrewDogs goal is to be the best employer ever, so part of your role will be ensuring all of your team are happy, developing themselves, reaching goals & having fun. You will be a role model for our crew to look up to ensuring our values flow throughout the site. This senior position will encompass managing the entire guest journey from highlighting potential customers, business and sales opportunities through to working alongside the various other operational departments in the kitchen, bar, coffee shop, restaurant to ensure their experience when they visit is unrivalled in London.

 

Youll be leading a team of Sales & Reservations Executives.  You will help plan for and bring together a crew of passionate & confident individuals… some with vast amounts of knowledge, some with years of customer service experience, some fresh into the industry!

 

Your job is to be the glue that holds the team together & drives them to be better every single day, helping them achieve their own goals and aspirations.

 

MAIN DUTIES

  • Head of Sales & Events, leading and supporting your team to grow the pre booked revenue of the business.
  • Leading the sales, bookings, marketing, events to ensure this flagship operation hits the mark for every occasion.
  • Enabling our crew to deliver epic customer experiences through clear communication and direction.
  • Engaging, retaining and developing your team.Enabling them to grow their careers within the business whilst agreeing and developing their performance and expectations.
  • Organise sales training sessions, build your LinkedIn network and oversee social media platforms for the venue.
  • Driving incremental sales throughout the site including meetings, events and larger exclusive hire opportunities.
  • Championing our culture and being an ambassador for our brand.
  • Full control and responsibility of the pre-booked revenue within the venue.
  • Build relationships with key contacts and existing customers, review and action guest feedback as well as in contact with past bookers to drive revisits.
  • Proactively looking for new ways to bring more customers our way and deliver more great beer into the hands of more people.
  • Planning events and campaigns, establishing new business contacts through outbound sessions.
  • Working with Venue Operations Manager and General Manager to forecasting financial performance based on pre booked revenue, ensuring all departmental managers have a full understanding of who we are expecting, when and what they need to do to exceed the guest expectations.
  • Working with the wider Retail Operations Team and Sales & Marketing teams to implement strategy changes and to drive new ways to engage our customers and crew.
  • Understand the wider market and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry changes.

 

About You

  • Previous multi-site sales and/or events management experience of 5+ venues or single site operation of similar size.
  • You will be passionate about the customer experience, making sure every single visit a customer has at BrewDog Waterloo is truly memorable.
  • Proven experience achieving results through highly engaged teams.Youll be a natural trainer & love seeing the people around you learn & develop.
  • Confident in pro-active sales, wanting to seize every sales opportunity.Skilled at writing proposals and confident in negotiating
  • You'll be dedicated and flexible - this role within BrewDog will be both challenging and rewarding, and something you can make your own.
  • Enjoys working as part of a team, has a positive and collaborative attitude with departmental managers to reach goals together.
  • As you will be acting as a BrewDog ambassador, an inherent understanding of impeccable customer service and hospitality standards is crucial.
  • Knowledge of craft beer and Collins booking system for this role would be desirable, but a willingness to learn if you dont is essential. Weve got all the tools (and the beer), you just need to be excited to learn.
